The Top 4 Questions to Ask a Refrigeration Repair Company
As the food industry has rapidly grown in recent decades, many businesses have increased the demand for commercial refrigeration. According to Statista, the global refrigerator market created $126.6 billion in revenue for 2021. A large portion of revenue comes from commercial refrigeration, such as the large fridges you see in restaurants or the rows of fridges in your local grocery store. Many companies offer repairs and their services provide a ton of help when your refrigerator is not functioning properly. Before hiring a company to repair your commercial refrigerators, you may want to ask these four questions.
1. How Much Do Repairs Cost?
Repair costs can range widely depending on the type of equipment being worked on. When dealing with commercial fridges, the pricing will depend on what kind of refrigeration repairs are required. It's good to ask your local commercial refrigeration repair company for an estimate before completing the work. This open communication will ensure fair pricing and give you time to prepare for the payment.
2. Are You Licensed?
When you hire a team of professionals to complete work in your business, they must be licensed. This guarantees that the workers have the right tools, knowledge, and training for the job. If you are paying someone for their service, you want to know that they can complete the task at hand.
3. Do You Offer Emergency Services?
When it comes to refrigeration, it's important to complete repairs promptly. Once a fridge stops working, it's only a matter of hours before the food may begin to spoil. Chances are your commercial refrigerators are storing a hefty amount of food, so you want to be sure to hire a company that can complete refrigeration repairs as soon as possible.
4. What Other Services Do You Offer?
If you own commercial refrigeration, you likely own other large commercial food equipment, such as ice machines, freezers, stoves, or ovens. It may be best to find a company that can repair all of these appliances. It can save you time in completing things like freezer or ice machine repairs if you already have a high-quality company in mind.
